About Me

Nina Rezendes Fauci is currently a senior at Emerson College, simultaneously pursuing a B.A in Writing, Literature & Publishing with a Publishing concentration and an M.A in Publishing & Writing as part of the college's 4+1 Program. In 2023, she transferred to Emerson from the Community College of Rhode Island where she obtained an A.A. in General Studies.
While at CCRI, she served as the Editor-in-Chief for the student-run newspaper, The Unfiltered Lens and worked as an editorial intern for URI's literary journal, The Ocean State Review, assisting in the poetry and fiction selection process.
Her current positions include being a staff editor and writer at Five Cent Sound, Emerson's only all-music magazine with numerous blog and print pieces published, covering topics such as music reviews, artist profiles, and industry trends. She is also a staff writer for YourMagazine where she maintains a biweekly blog called A Literary Life that chronicles her adventures reviewing independent bookstores in the Greater Boston area.
Nina's heart lies in writing poetry, short stories, non fiction, travel writing, and interviewing interesting people. Fueled by a passion for bold storytelling, she is currently working on writing and publishing a travel guide & memoir of her experiences with her family on the island of São Miguel in the Azores and is looking to secure a Boston-based editorial internship for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester.
In her free time, Nina enjoys drinking herbal tea, playing the bass, going to the gym, and reading astrology charts.
